A modern Mediterranean dining takeover brings coastal flavours to the capital in an immersive seasonal experience.
On January 17 and 18 2026, COSTA Jakarta hosts a special kitchen takeover with Riviera Bali, bringing fresh coastal flavours to the capital. Led by Chef Ryan Theja of COSTA Jakarta and Chef Emilio Bean of Riviera Bali, this limited-time collaboration presents a thoughtfully curated modern Mediterranean dining experience.
Shaped by the philosophy of “mar i muntanya,” the harmony between mountain and sea, COSTA Jakarta brings together global influences to create dishes that reflect a balance of tradition and vibrant coastal character. Along with Riviera Bali’s refined dishes that honours both Bali’s bounty and timeless Mediterranean traditions, altogether makes for a dining experience you won’t forget.
The weekend takeover will feature a brunch experience served from 12 PM to 3 PM, showcasing Mediterranean-inspired plates made with seasonal ingredients. Designed as a relaxed and social dining affair, the menu encourages a shared-table experience and easy-going conversation, in an inviting laid-back setting.
The takeover menu will highlight the finest of the Mediterranean character. Starting with Alfonsino Cheek in sauce Bravas, to a selection of main courses from Patagonian prawn and baby tomatoes in salsa tinta to Stone Axe Deckle Australian wagyu with marsala sauce, and finishing off with the decadent Rye Sourdough Ice Cream.
Complementing the food is a curated selection of wines, created to enhance the rich flavours and elevate the brunch ritual. Each wine is crafted with a focus on balance, texture, and the lively character that defines both venues.
This collaboration reflects a shared passion for craftsmanship, and modern Mediterranean dining. Guests are invited to indulge in a weekend of inspired cooking, vibrant wines, and effortless coastal charm, set against an atmosphere designed for lingering, laughter, and unhurried afternoons.
