The Many Love Languages of Valentine’s Day at Padma Resort Ubud

Padma Resort UbudPadma Resort Ubud invites couples to celebrate their love on Valentine’s Day with three distinct dining experiences designed for romance amid quiet luxury.

With the village of Puhu as its backdrop, untouched jungles and all, an air of romanticism envelops Padma Resort Ubud. The resort’s version of opulence isn’t in flashy showings or excessive extravagance, instead leaning into tranquillity and quietude, fostering the atmosphere that makes for luxury’s amorous nuances. It’s only natural that its Valentine’s Day programme, A Romance in the Highlands, is anchored by this very ethos, offering three dining experiences on 14 February 2026 with distinctive flavours and settings.

Set at The Pool Café and Bar, A Valentine’s Evening by the Pool is easy and unfussy, making it ideal for couples who are keeping things casual or those with a preference for something humbler. Starlit skies set the romantic tone, becoming the backdrop for a two- or three-course dinner, while a convivial ambience adds dynamism to the evening.

For something more elegant, A Garden Romance has a more elegant affair in store. It brings a four-course dinner to the manicured grassy terrain of Pool Lawn, overlooking the verdant valleys below. For an intimate meal against the languid breezes of the highlands, diners can choose from three different sets: a seafood-forward list highlighting Indonesian-inspired flavours, another with Western dishes, and one featuring vegan-friendly creations.

A Bamboo Serenade, though, is ready to treat couples with a taste for the grandiose. This experience cocoons diners in the Bamboo Nest, an enclave of romantic grandeur that frames a picture-perfect snapshot of Payangan’s natural vistas. Matching the sensorial splendour is an equally sumptuous seven-course set menu featuring succulent dishes, from grilled tiger prawns bathed in sambal matah, a refreshing salmon tartare, diner’s choice of Angus beef tenderloin or rock lobster, to an herbaceous slow-baked pineapple dessert.
