Shaping the Future of Dining through Food & Hospitality Indonesia 2026

As the domestic dining scene rapidly evolves, Southeast Asia’s largest foodservice exhibition, Food & Hospitality Indonesia, returns to Jakarta this July 2026. The event connects industry leaders, showcases sustainable practices, and celebrates a dynamic shift in local gastronomy.

Dining out and weekend staycations have transformed the way people experience the city. The hum of professional espresso machines and the precision of modern kitchens reflect a new chapter in domestic consumption, prompting the hospitality industry to respond with increasingly sophisticated products and services. Capturing this momentum, Food & Hospitality Indonesia (FHI) 2026 returns for its 20th edition at the Jakarta International Expo from 21 to 24 July 2026, bringing together more than 500 exhibitors from 32 countries. Visitors can explore innovations from across the globe, with participating nations including Australia, Japan, and many others.

Designed as a comprehensive business platform, the exhibition combines Hotelex Indonesia, Fine Furniture & Deco Asia, Hotel & Shop Design and Supply Asia, and PROPAK Indonesia under one roof. This integrated format allows hospitality professionals to discover the latest equipment, technologies, and solutions from leading brands such as Robot Coupe and Unox.

Competition remains a major highlight throughout the event. The Indonesia Coffee Event hosts the Indonesia Barista Championship, where the country’s finest baristas compete for national recognition. Creative bartenders will showcase their flair during the World Fashion Drinks Competition, while the Tea Master Cup Indonesia celebrates locally produced teas renowned for their high catechin content.

Alongside the competitions, an extensive educational programme provides valuable opportunities for professional development. The Association of Culinary Professionals will conduct practical masterclasses covering butchery, artisan pasta making, and other specialist techniques. Meanwhile, the Indonesia Sommelier Association will present wine masterclasses aimed at expanding participants’ expertise in beverage service and appreciation.

Sustainability continues to shape the future of hospitality, and FHI 2026 reflects this industry-wide priority. Exhibitors will showcase organic ingredients, environmentally responsible packaging, and technologies designed to improve energy efficiency. Companies including Althea Ecobag and Flora Food Group will introduce solutions that address the growing demand for more sustainable business practices.

The exhibition also responds to evolving regulations through a dedicated seminar presented by LPPOM MUI, offering guidance on the expanded halal certification requirements that come into effect in October 2026. Perum BULOG will contribute further insight by discussing long-term strategies to strengthen Indonesia’s national food security.

With Indonesia’s foodservice market recently reaching an estimated value of US$29 billion, the sector continues to demonstrate strong commercial potential. FHI 2026 provides an ideal platform for businesses to capitalise on this growth by connecting international innovators with local industry professionals.
