A heavenly match fit for every occasion, Campari Group’s latest debut in Southeast Asia brings together The Glen Grant and Courvoisier, set to captivate discerning drinkers with their timeless craftsmanship and heritage.
The Glen Grant and Courvoisier are rare spirits that have lasted through the ages. With almost two centuries of legacy behind them, these legendary Scotch whisky and cognac houses now make their grand entrance into Indonesia, thanks to Campari Group and local partner PT Nano Logistic. Their debut invites Indonesian connoisseurs and hospitality experts to experience two brands that have established the world of premium spirits through steadfast passion, creativity, and a tireless pursuit of excellence.
Established in 1840 in Scotland’s Speyside region, The Glen Grant is famous for its elegant, fruit-forward single malts, shaped by James “The Major” Grant’s pioneering distilling techniques and lasting spirit of innovation. Its distinctive tall, slender stills and carefully managed maturation have evolved into hallmarks of a whisky style distinguished for its exceptional clarity and refined character.
Meanwhile, Courvoisier has earned its place among the world’s most distinguished names since the early 19th century. Revered as The Cognac of Napoleon, the house upholds its rich heritage whilst embracing contemporary cocktail culture and the developing landscape of luxury hospitality.
At the forefront of the launch are each house’s most celebrated creations, demonstrating their artistry and tradition. The Glen Grant presents its 12-Year-Old and Arboralis single malts, both matured in carefully chosen ex-bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks. The former reveals layers of apple pie, toffee, caramel, almonds, honey, and a note of spice, resulting in a whisky of exquisite balance and depth. The latter shines with a lively, fruit-forward character, beginning with honey and ripe pear, then gliding into creamy toffee and a softly spiced finish.
Courvoisier’s signature VSOP and XO cognacs join the celebration. The VSOP expertly blends eaux de vie from four esteemed crus, delivering richness, graceful floral notes, and a palate that is both smooth and harmonious. The XO unveils a collection of candied fruit, caramel, and gentle floral nuances, finishing with a refinement that has charmed cognac lovers worldwide.
Supporting the launch, Campari Group’s collaboration with PT Nano Logistic, under the leadership of Tommy Sutanto, Country Manager for Indonesia and Malaysia, brings The Glen Grant and Courvoisier within reach of Indonesian aficionados. Through intentionally curated tastings, immersive masterclasses, and educational programmes, this partnership provides access to the rich heritage and workmanship of each spirit, nurturing Indonesia’s growing passion for world-class whisky and cognac.
