Babylon Garden Affair puts a creative spin on the classic Negroni with three inventive cocktails and mind-enticing interpretations of the beloved aperitivo.
At Babylon Garden Affair, Negroni Week becomes a playground for experimentation. From 21-27 September 2026, guests are invited to indulge in the versatility of Campari through a selection of cocktails that reinterpret the classic in unexpected ways, pairing its signature bitterness with ingredients ranging from truffle oil to fig leaf and strawberry.
Among the highlights is the Trufflegroni, an earthy variation combining tequila fat-washed with truffle oil, Campari, and Cinzano Sweet Vermouth. The tequila provides a distinctive base for the classic combination, while truffle introduces a savoury richness that adds depth to the drink’s bittersweet foundation. It is a more indulgent interpretation of the Negroni, where an unexpected ingredient becomes the defining character of the glass.
Also featured is The Last Note, a competition cocktail that takes a more unconventional route. Campari is paired with carbonated fig leaf wine-cello and jasmine-infused sweet vermouth, bringing together botanical, floral, and aromatic notes in a composition that challenges the boundaries of the traditional aperitivo.
Meanwhile, Cafe Fragola takes a fruitier and more aromatic approach, combining Campari infused with strawberry and Cinzano Sweet Vermouth infused with coffee. The sweetness and brightness of strawberry meet the deeper, roasted notes of coffee, creating a contrast that gives the cocktail its own distinct personality.
