Grand Hyatt Jakarta is ushering in the Lunar New Year 2025 with culinary delights and thoughtful offerings to celebrate the Year of the Wood-Snake. The hotel is introducing two beautifully curated hampers to mark the occasion. The Fortune Box features an enticing selection of macadamia and sesame cookies, koi-shaped nian gao, and other festive treats. The Prosperity Pagoda includes premium bird’s nests, angpao envelopes, speciality teas, and more for a more indulgent option. These hampers are available for pickup at Grand Café and La Moda in Plaza Indonesia, with delivery services provided throughout Jabodetabek.
Grand Café will host a special Lunar New Year buffet for those planning a festive meal on 28-29 January 2025. The menu boasts Szechuan-style dishes, Peking duck, a giant Yusheng platter, and decadent durian-inspired desserts. Alternatively, guests can enjoy a sophisticated afternoon tea at the Fountain Lounge. This elegant set includes lobster finger sandwiches, five-spiced beef croquettes, and a selection of sweet treats like orange and mandarin eclipse desserts and torched calamansi meringue tarts paired with tea or coffee.
The celebrations continue into February with a unique culinary collaboration. From February 1 to 13, 2025, Chef Yoosun Lee from Park Hyatt Busan will take over the Grand Café kitchen, offering authentic Korean flavours. Guests can savour classic dishes such as beef bulgogi, crispy fried chicken, seafood pancakes, and the refreshing Korean cinnamon punch, sujeonggwa.
