Located amidst the rice paddies and trendy stores of Canggu, Santanera announces the launch of its much-anticipated lunch service. The restaurant’s innovative menu, delicious drinks, and vibrant atmosphere are sure to excite diners.
The restaurant was born out of the visionary ideas of a group of friends sharing the same dream, including Chefs Andres Becerra and German Rincon, who helm the kitchen. Hailing from Colombia, the chefs bring their illustrious and worldly culinary experience to create a creative modern menu inspired by the flavours they came across in Europe, the Mediterranean and Latin America.
Recently, the talented Colombian chefs have designed a menu that will appeal to anyone looking for a delicious, relaxed lunch with friends or colleagues. Santanera’s menu features a range of light bites and hearty mains with Latin American flavours, European influences and fine local ingredients.
Having started in early June, Santanera’s new lunch service is available every day from 12pm until late. The menu boasts a range of mouth-watering dishes, including the ultimate sandwich worth crossing town for – homemade cured pork belly pancetta layered with ham, jicama, emmental cheese, pickles and mustard, all sandwiched between Vienna-style bread (think croissant but a bit denser) with fennel and sesame seeds. Enjoy yellowfin tuna with green beans, almond cream and tamarind with lime dressing or indulge in dishes from the dedicated ceviche selection of the menu.
Guests are encouraged to take their time basking in Santanera’s ambience, make the most of its airy Terraza, and order one, two, or more, of the house’s signature creative libations and have the time of their life.
