Renowned for its stunning ocean views and vibrant atmosphere, Seminyak’s SugarSand has recently undergone a drastic transformation. Having initially opened in September 2018, the restaurant has embraced the spirit of a Japanese neighbourhood diner by offering famously styled Izakaya-inspired entrées.
Influenced by local Balinese culture, the restaurant features intricate details inspired by the traditional Balinese fishing boat, the Jukung, and combines it with a Japanese ambience. SugarSand has become a haven for connoisseurs of fine food and drinks and enjoyers of music, culture, relaxation, and celebration. Japanese delicacies on offer during the day include wagyu gyoza, the chicken katsu sandwich, Tacos 3-Way, and a large choice of sushi. In the evening, expect exceptional plates comprising gindara miso, spicy tuna sushi, or Kiwami wagyu to take up your table.
