Sitting beautifully in one of Petitenget’s prime spots, W Bali – Seminyak is never short of surprises to delight its guests. In celebration of the arrival of summer, the resort is throwing a culinary extravaganza this weekend, which will showcase the amazing skills of Australian Chef Mark LaBrooy of The Boathouse Group. The event, which takes place from June 21 to June 23, 2024, invites guests to partake in a series of culinary masterclasses that will tantalise their taste buds with delectable feasts of premium meats and freshly caught seafood.

The festivities begin on Friday, 21 June 2024, at 5.30pm with the launch of Fridays of Fire at Fire Restaurant. Chef Mark LaBrooy will host this exciting evening, presenting premium meats freshly grilled using charcoal right by your table. Enhance the dining experience with a carefully selected wine pairing, with prices starting at IDR1,100,000++ per person.

The excitement continues the next day, starting at 5.30pm with Sunset Grill at the WET Sand. To ensure that the dining experience is as fresh as it gets, Chef LaBrooy will be grilling the freshest seafood that he caught earlier in the day. Enjoy the mesmerising ambience of the beach while you savour each bite of his delicious creations. This dining opportunity is priced at IDR1,100,000++ per person.

The culinary event will culminate on Sunday, 23 June 2024, with Bali’s Best Sunday Brunch, featuring a specially curated pop-up with a live cooking station by Chef LaBrooy. From 12pm to 3.30pm, guests can indulge in creations using the freshest ingredients that are locally sourced. This limited edition Sunday brunch offers an array of delectable dishes, with prices starting at IDR1,100,000++ per person. Alcoholic beverages and champagne packages are also available to complement the experience.

Chef Mark LaBrooy is no stranger to culinary excellence. With a background in fine dining, he has travelled the world, honing his skills and developing a passion for sourcing and cooking ingredients in their natural habitat. His journey led him to open a café back home, which has since expanded to six restaurants and resulted in three cookbooks and multiple Good Food Guide Chef Hats. Since joining The Boathouse Group in February 2024, Chef LaBrooy has been instrumental in rolling out new menus across their venues.
