Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort marks Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day with Kuliner Nusantara Buffet Night—an evening of authentic archipelagic cuisine, local wine pairings by Hatten Wine and captivating Balinese cultural performances.
In celebration of Indonesia’s 80th Independence Day, Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort invites guests to embark on a culinary journey across the archipelago with its exclusive “Kuliner Nusantara Buffet Night”. This special event will take place on Sunday, 17 August, starting at 6pm at the resort’s renowned all-day dining destination, Kwee Zeen. The evening promises a rich array of flavours that reflect the nation’s vibrant cultural heritage.
This year’s celebration is particularly exciting due to a collaboration with Hatten Wine, Bali’s local winery. Guests will have the chance to enjoy specially selected wine pairings that complement a menu filled with beloved Indonesian dishes. Highlights include Siomay, Gado-Gado, Soto Daging, Bebek Timbungan and Rahang Tuna Bakar. A dedicated Gorengan station will add a nostalgic touch, making it a true feast for the senses.
To enhance the experience, a traditional Balinese cultural performance will take place during the evening, immersing diners in the island’s artistic beauty and creating a deeper connection to the celebration.
“This year’s Independence Day will be truly special as we collaborate with Hatten Wine, a locally sourced wine from Bali,” shares Andrew Clark, Director of Food and Beverages at Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort. “We are excited to present a vibrant Indonesian buffet dinner that will leave our guests wanting more, all while incorporating an authentic Balinese cultural performance.”
The buffet is priced at IDR449,000++ per adult and IDR224,500++ per child, offering exceptional value for an unforgettable evening. For those looking to enhance their dining experience, a curated beverage package is available at IDR350,000++ per bottle or IDR80,000++ per glass.
