Though Sago House has moved from its first home in a shophouse attic on Sago Street to a spot in Chinatown, much of its ethos remains the same. One step into the compact space and patrons would quickly pick up on the bar’s crafty spirit; if not from the upcycled materials that make up 80 per cent of its interiors, then the graffiti-laden walls should do more than enough convincing. But truly, the cocktails act as the truest testament to its capricious charm. The menu is a sextet of creations that changes weekly, warranting a new exploration with each visit.
