The 20th Food & Hospitality Indonesia opened at Jakarta International Expo with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia, underscoring the event’s growing importance to Indonesia’s hospitality and food service industries. Held over four days, the exhibition welcomed more than 34,000 trade visitors from around the world and brought together 576 exhibiting companies, facilitating more than 2,800 business matchmaking sessions.

Sustainability remained a key focus, with initiatives including food rescue programmes and the collection of used cooking oil for conversion into aviation fuel. Seminars explored inclusive hiring practices and long-term business resilience, while national beverage competitions supported professional development, with winners earning opportunities to represent Indonesia at global finals in Panama or Shanghai.
