The brunch starts at 11am in the hotel’s famous Astor Bar with an hour of aperitifs including a selection of delectable pass-around canapés and signature cocktails like the Chili Padi Mary, a locally inspired interpretation of the famous New York King Cole Bar Bloody Mary.
At noon the expansive doors of Brasserie Les Saveurs are thrown open and guests are invited to further their indulgence with a mesmerising banquet of seafood, charcuteries, speciality hors d’oeuvres, roasts, desserts and freshly prepared salads from the expansive buffet as well exclusive signature dishes ordered from the exclusive Sunday Brunch à la carte menu.
Tuck into freshly shucked French oysters, smoked salmon and cappuccino cream with Chantilly, caviar on blini and exceptional dishes such as pan-fried foie gras on brioche with fig chutney. For those with an Asian palate the dim sum and the sushi and sashimi are outstanding. The buffet also includes fresh pastries, artisan breads, terrines and cheeses whilst the seafood boasts Alaskan and Sri Lankan crabs, along with prawns and mussels.
