Padma Hotels has proudly welcomed the famed Indonesian Chef Degan Septoadji as the new corporate chef. Degan is known for his impressive expertise in Indonesian and Thai culinary, extensive knowledge from studying at Berufsbildende Schule Technik II, countless experiences in various restaurants including a three Michelin-starred Schwarzwaldstube in Hotel Traube Tonbach, Germany, and of course, his stint as the esteemed judge of MasterChef Indonesia TV programme.
To commemorate Chef Degan’s appointment, Padma Resort Legian and Padma Resort Ubud will host a series of culinary events. First in line is Chef Degan’s Cook Out at Padma Resort Legian on 20th October from 3pm till 5pm, priced at IDR300,000, with the inclusion of snacks, refreshments and a voucher to S.K.A.I Culinary Festival – held later in the evening. Then Padma Resort Ubud will see Chef Degan demonstrates his skills on 28th October from 3pm till 5pm. The demo will be followerd by a tour around Padma Resort Ubud’s own agro forestry garden, where most of the ingredients are sourced. The dining festivity will continue with the Indonesian Culinary Art on International Stage wine dinner, on the same day from 6.45pm onward.
