Negroni Week Returns: The Enduring Bond of Campari and the Negroni

The annual celebration of the Negroni returns to Indonesia, bringing together creative serves, regional bartender collaborations, and distinctive experiences across hundreds of participating venues.

The unmistakable red of Campari takes centre stage once again as Negroni Week returns for its 14th annual celebrations from 21–27 September 2026. Bringing together bars, bartenders, and cocktail enthusiasts around the world, the week-long festivities pay tribute to one of the most enduring classics in cocktail culture, with collaborating partner Slow Food through participating venues.

In Jakarta, the festivities began with an opening event at Osteria GIA Plaza Indonesia on 18 September. Setting the tone for the week ahead, the evening features a special bar takeover by Melvin of Kuala Lumpur’s Bar Trigona, alongside an interactive DIY Cocktail Cart offering guests a closer look at Campari and the craft behind the Negroni.

Osteria GIA’s connection with the classic cocktail extends beyond the annual celebration. Through The Negroni Club, held every Friday and Saturday at its Plaza Indonesia, PIM 2, and Pacific Place locations, guests can continue exploring different expressions of the Negroni throughout the year.

Across Indonesia, 352 participating outlets and counting will join Negroni Week, each bringing its own interpretation through curated serves, bespoke menus, and distinctive experiences. Among the highlights is a special bar takeover at Hats Bar on 24 September, featuring Samyap of Cabinet 8, Kuala Lumpur.

The collaboration comes shortly after Hats Bar was named the recipient of the Campari One To Watch Award 2026, further spotlighting the exchange of talent and creativity within the region’s bar scene.

This September, together with the week’s many other activations, Negroni Week offers a fitting reminder that some classics never go out of style; they simply find new ways to be enjoyed: a classic that remains recognisable at its core, yet endlessly open to reinterpretation.
