Whisky Live Jakarta 2025 kicks off with a special preview event at Nautilus Bar, offering guests a glimpse of the world-class whisky experience ahead. With tastings, insights and lively discussions, the evening set the stage for February’s main event.
Whisky Live Jakarta, part of the world-renowned Whisky Live series, is set to return on 1-2 February 2025 at the Grand Ballroom, Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta. Known for bringing whisky lovers, industry professionals, and iconic brands together, the event promises two days of tastings, masterclasses, and discussions about the rich history and production of whisky from across the globe.
As a warm-up to the main event, the ‘Road to Whisky Live 2025’ took place on 16 January at the luxurious Nautilus Bar, offering guests a glimpse of what’s to come at Whisky Live Jakarta. The bar’s refined ambience created the perfect backdrop for an evening of exploration and discovery, where whisky enthusiasts and newcomers mingled over exclusive tastings. Bar manager Julian Brigget enhanced the experience by sharing stories about the bar’s signature creations, weaving the venue’s unique character into the night’s whisky selections and adding a personalised touch to the occasion.
One of the highlights was the Tasting Flight, where brands like Jura, Glendronach, Douglas Laing, Keris, and Lark presented their prized selections. Guests were treated to insights from international brand representatives, learning about production methods and the distinctive stories behind each whisky.
The event also featured a free pouring session, showcasing a variety of whiskies, including Glendronach 12, Douglas Laing’s Timorous Beastie and Jura 12 Sherry Cask. With its relaxed atmosphere and engaging conversations, the evening allowed attendees to explore a broad spectrum of flavours and techniques. Moreover, with anticipation now heightened, Whisky Live Jakarta 2025 is poised to be a landmark event for whisky lovers in Indonesia.
