Karma Beach Bali welcomes its latest addition, Tandoori Bar & Grill, serving up selections of Indian street food and specialty dishes along its picturesque white-sand coastline.
Indian food might not be the first thing you think of eating by the beach, but Tandoori Bar & Grill is set to change that. Gracing the pristine white sands of Karma Beach Bali at Karma Kandara, this all-day dining spotlights South Asian cuisine for its oceanside libations, serving up a variety of well-known favourites and specialties from day to night.
Executive Chef Jeevraj Singh leads the kitchen with his expertise, honed over time from his grandmother’s kitchen in Rajasthan, India to royal palaces and Karma Group destinations around the world. His approach to food, rooted in tradition and informed by his global footprint, shapes the menu here.
By morning, it’s a sunlit venue to enjoy leisurely brunches and lunches. From 11am to 5pm, diners are treated to a wide array of Indian street foods that have become a creature comfort for many. Pav Bhaji, Vada Pav, Paneer Chilli, and Chicken Tikka Kathi Rolls are set to transport the taste buds to the streets of India. Evenings, meanwhile, unfold around the traditional clay oven, tandoor, as smoky grilled meats are paired with rich curries. Dinnertime highlights include Mushroom Tikka, Lamb Seekh Kebab, Baingan Bharta, and the Laal Mas mutton curry to classics like Palak Paneer and Butter Chicken.
