The authentically placed Santanera restaurant is giving everyone a new reason to stop by.
Diners who have been craving the opening of a lunch service at their favourite dining spot, are now in luck. Nestled amidst the rice fields of Canggu, Santanera restaurant has been a go-to for those expecting a vibrant atmosphere, friendly staff, and a variety of flavours.
Chefs Andres Beccera and German Rincon have designed a menu that satisfies the palates of anyone, all within the walls of an ambient three-storey restaurant that considers many of its regulars.
Beginning Monday, 12 June 2023, and available every day from noon, the lunch service exhibits a mouth-watering selection, including ham-layered pork belly pancetta, yellowfin tuna with green beans, and a lightly battered red mullet with hand-cut chips and tartare sauce.
Adventurous bon vivants are encouraged to include the octopus with devil egg emulsion and Peruvian purple potatoes in their diet, while extra-hungry visitors may choose the 200g beef tenderloin cooked over charcoal and served with heirloom tomatoes and jalapeno. Santanera restaurant also expects the wood-fired chicken with smoked pomme puree and chicken jus to be a popular course.
Naturally, the talented chefs couldn’t skip on dessert, offering an array of delicious delights, like churros with dark chocolate, vanilla ice cream, and dulce de leche for that afternoon sweet tooth.
