Always at the forefront of bringing culinary marvels to the city, the COMO Group is adding a Michelin-starred Torno Subito to its flagship COMO Dempsey.
The highly regarded Chef Massimo Bottura of the three-star Osteria Francescana in Modena, Italy, is having a permanent residency in Asia at COMO Dempsey with the opening of Torno Subito. Retro and whimsical, Torno Subito is a nod to the Italian Rivera of the 1960s. Meaning ‘I’ll be right back’ in colloquial Italian, the vibrant restaurant is helmed by Executive Chef Alessio Pirozzi from the Michelin-starred Torno Subito in Dubai, and invites diners to have fun and celebrates the evolution of Italian traditions.
With 154 seats spread across 1,000sqm, Torno Subito offers flavours that span Italy’s northern and southern regions. Imagine hand-crafted cavatelli pasta cooked in rich red bell pepper sauce and smoked paprika with carabinero prawns. Another highlight to be expected is Chef Bottura’s take on tiramisu, called Tiramisubito! A deconstructed dessert topped with a flawless chocolate tuile dusted with gold and featuring all the essential ingredients typically found in a tiramisu.
