Pirata

Giant Tiger Prawns

Fabulous food, a relaxed atmosphere and a comfortable unpretentious design makes Pirata in Wan Chai one of Hong Kong’s most popular Italian restaurants for couples, families and for those looking for a delicious business lunch.

Helmed by Chef Stefano Rossi, Pirata is spread over two floors, each with its own charm and atmosphere. The upper floor is quite plush and ideally suited for pre-dinner drinks and light bites. It’s here, located to the right, guests discover the private room, a rich space ideal for group dinners or celebrations of any kind.

Downstairs is more reminiscent of an urban bistro filled with industrial-style décor where the lightly textured concrete walls are complemented beautifully by kitchen-style tables, wooden chairs and diner-style bench seating.

The Pirata menu is extensive and for weekend brunch, set lunches and à la carte dinner goes way beyond the standard pizza and pasta with some exceptional meat and seafood dishes. For lunch the fresh fish of the day stands out, whilst at dinner choose from Mediterranean-inspired small and large plates including classics like gnocchetti with pistachio pesto and blue prawns, octopus salad and the popular scallop and mushroom skewers – Hokkaido scallop, guanciale, chicken leg mushrooms served with hanabero and pepper jam.

Signature Seafood:
