Boneka is the second brunch offering at the exclusive The St. Regis Bali Resort, sister to the sophisticated Astor Diamond Champagne Brunch at Kayuputi. With a more relaxed vibe and the option of both à la carte offerings and a decadent brunch spread, Boneka is the ideal choice for a family affair or leisurely Sunday pursuit.
The brunch officially kicks off at midday in the mezzanine restaurant, however, guests are invited to enjoy complimentary cocktails in the prestigious King Cole Bar from 11AM onwards, where the signature St. Regis Bali Mary steals the show with its luminous red hues and local Balinese ingredients.
Then as the clock strikes twelve, the soft sounds of a live jazz band and the sweet scent of freshly baked croissants draw you towards the buzz of the dining room, where a warm glow of fiery oranges sets the scene for this cosy brunch setting. The vibe is both lively and inviting, epitomising the laid back nature of this delightful weekend tradition – homely and convivial; easy like a Sunday morning.
A light percussion of fine silverware on dainty China keeps the brunching spirit alive, as gourmet plates of international delicacies from the à la carte menu pass by one after the other. There are eggs soft boiled with Spanish Avruga pearls, sunny side up with foie gras and tender Wagyu, and the signature Egg Nouvelle where a whole shell indulgently brims with a creamy lobster ragout.
Over to the buffet and a banquet of world-class produce is laid out in all its glory, from the freshly made sushi, rolled right in front of your eyes, to the cured and roasted meats, squishy dim sum dumplings, chilled giant prawns, and individually plated appetisers like the tuna tataki, melon gazpacho, chicken caesar salad and cold smoked salmon with dill sour cream and toasted bagels for spreading.
Ever-present and unrelentingly tempting, a towering chocolate fountain reminds you to save space for the sumptuous desserts. Crème brûlées, tropical panna cottas, cupcakes and tiramisu, the brunch at Boneka promises to end on a very sweet note.
The Boneka brunch is held every Sunday from 12PM to 3PM and offers three different dining packages: brunch with soft drinks, the beverage brunch to pair your feast with cocktails and wine, or the premium package that includes Champagne and premium wines, carefully selected by esteemed Sommelier, Harald Weismann.
