Gran Meliá Jakarta invites five leading chefs in Indonesia to present a fine sumptuous dinner for true connoisseurs, as well as two special brunches that showcase their skilful creations.
Discerning diners will be able to indulge in an outstanding 10-Hands Dinner at hotel Gran Meliá Jakarta’s RedLevel Lounge for one night only on Friday 11 June. Crafted by five talented chefs in Indonesia, this collaboration will be a chance to experience the culinary brilliance of chefs Chandra Yudasswara, Ingo Oldenburg, Gianluca Visciglia, Tomoaki Ito and Eric Gouteyron.
Chef Chandra, a celebrity chef with several restaurants, will serve a rijsstafel inspired by various areas across Indonesia comprising king prawn dabu dabu, maranggi lamb chop and Lombok spring chicken. Chef Ingo, executive chef of Gran Meliá Jakarta with a wealth of international experience, will serve his Sumatera vanilla marinated sous vide salmon, mascarpone dip and green sauce.
Italian-born Chef Gianluca, who has worked for many international hotel chains and now runs his own restaurant in Lombok, will present saffron risotto with ossobuco bites and bone marrow, while Yoshi Izakaya’s Executive Japanese Chef Tomoaki Ito will serve his signature dish, kinoko soup.
The superb meal will end with a creation by the innovative award-winning pastry chef, Eric Gouteyron, who will present his chocolate royaltine and macaron, mango citronella and tonka bean ice cream.
