During the whole festive month of December 2021, The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta will be decorated in gold and silvery Christmas ornaments. A 4-metre Christmas tree will be placed in the lobby to add to the holiday feel. The hotel has prepared a special holiday stay package from 1 December 2021 to 9 January 2022 (excluding 30 December 2021 to 2 January 2022).
To complement the guests’ memorable stays, The Sultan Hotel & Residence Jakarta’s F&B team, led by the hotel’s very own Executive Sous Chef Eric Kusnadi, has prepared two indulgent family-style menus to savour.
One set features cured Norwegian salmon gravlax, zupa soup, roasted turkey with cranberry sauce and giblet sauce, buttered brussel sprouts and maple-glazed baby carrots, honey-glazed sweet potato and bread stuffing, while desserts are yule log cake and classic apple tart. For the second set, guests will have BBQ prawn salad with avocado and cherry tomatoes, Manhattan clam chowder, wagyu beef wellington, roasted red potatoes with rosemary and mustard and roasted baby vegetables, while desserts are crème brulée and Christmas pudding.
An alternative option for the main course is the hotel’s classic seared Norwegian salmon with angel hair pesto dressing and vegetable ratatouille. Don’t forget to order festive beverages at Christmas, eggnog and classic ginger mocktail, to warm up the night.
