Coming into the lounge, the batik stamp installation on the wall will be the first to grab your attention and take your breath away. Comprising approximately 800 handmade copper batik stamps from Java, the installation instills unique shapes and textures to the interior. Adding to that is the custom-designed U-shaped bar as the centrepiece, as well as the plush leather sofas and armchairs and teak tables – all crafted by Bali local artisans and craftsmen.
Of course, the part of the interior that might catch your heart the most is the whisky cellar, displaying the most impressive collection of favourite and rare single malts on the island. At BATIQUE, guests can experience the specially curated Whiskey Journey tasting experience led by the lounge’s resident whisky sommelier, sampling whiskies of different ages and regions. For a fun twist, you can also check out the whisky-based cocktails on offer, while classic cocktails, premium spirits and fine wines are also available.
