The warmly welcoming Prego at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, serves a range of delectable authentic Italian food ideal for the whole family. This sunny space, overlooking a grassy garden, has both indoor and outdoor dining areas, with some cute tables for four outside perched on individual moated-platforms along the garden edge.

For five-star dining, the eatery is relatively casual and filled with some interesting touches. The main dining space is elegant with dark wooden slats and copper lamps providing warm ambient lighting at night. During the day, it’s bright and airy and maintains a comfortable family atmosphere, perhaps in part thanks to the open kitchen that is central to the design and the spacious, comfortable seating.

The lively eatery is awash with enticing aromas emanating from the bustling open kitchens. The wafting of freshly baked bread and pizza can be particularly intoxicating. Ideal for families and group sharing, the menu is crammed full of typical Italian foods, ranging from hot and cold starters, pastas and wood-fired pizzas, to risottos, rotisserie meat, meat and seafood.

Particular non-pasta and pizza favourites include the aragosta grigliata con verdurine al prezzemolo, which is a gorgeous grilled local lobster with sautéed mixed vegetables and lemon sabayon; the hearty Ossobucco alla Milanese, an Italian-style red wine-braised veal shank that has a gorgeous rich gravy simply oozing into the saffron risotto; and the very Mediterranean black ravioli with baby calamari stew.

Pasta fans can choose their favourite shape and sauce, or go for one of the pasta dishes, including the completely fail-safe option of classic rich beef lasagne.

Being Italian, Prego also offers classic Italian wines, gourmet coffee and tempting desserts—don’t miss the gianduiotto di torino of Turin hazelnut chocolate topped with hazelnut ice cream!
Prego also makes the extra fuss for your birthday, however old you are! Bring all your family and friends along for a Birthday Bash, Prego family style, with a personalised birthday cake, special buffet and activities for kids, SuperChefs build-your-own pizza, kids’ goodie bags and balloons galore.

If you have to wait a while for your birthday, don’t worry, just bring the family on a Sunday for the fun-filled Family Brunch where the kids have their own dedicated place. They not only have their own private buffet area with miniature dining tables, fairy floss and popcorn machines but are kept fully entertained with lively activities both indoors and outdoors. Kids of all ages are sure to love the large, secure grassy area where they can burn off their excess energy, play on the slide and with a variety of toys and games.

All in all, you are sure to enjoy Prego whenever you choose to visit.

Prego offers an array of original pizza combinations. We tend to favour the slightly unusual broccoli e salsiccia pizza of tomato, mozzarella, garlic broccoli and Italian sausage on its smoky thin pizza base, or go for the fully loaded calzone bomba stuffed with turkey ham, zucchini, artichoke, basil, pesto sauce, tomato and mozzarella, which is more than a meal just by itself.
