The new restaurant blends the timeless flavors of Cantonese cuisine with contemporary design inspired by Chinese culture and Phuket’s industrial heritage.
The enchanting island of Phuket welcomes a new culinary gem with the grand opening of Yue Restaurant & Bar at Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town.
Phuket’s historical landscape bears the indelible mark of Chinese influence dating back to the 16th century. Chinese settlers left their imprint on the island’s architecture, temples, and, most notably, its cuisine.
“Yue,” which translates to “happiness” in Chinese, serves as a tribute to this enduring legacy by bringing authentic Chinese dining to the heart of Phuket’s old town. The restaurant invites guests to embark on an authentic culinary journey through the rich tapestry of Cantonese cuisine.
From breakfast to dinner, diners can savor handcrafted dim sum and premium teas expertly prepared by our talented chefs. Head Chef Kenny Chang, with over a decade of experience in the Chinese kitchen, showcases signature dishes like the Yue Andaman Sea King, Yue Sichuan Lobster, Yue Roasted Duck, and the delectable Golden Peach Gum Longan Jelly.
Drawing inspiration from the dynamic dragon dances witnessed at Phuket’s festivals, Yue’s interior features captivating elements, including winding round seating arrangements and an artistically adorned ceiling. The décor also pays homage to Phuket’s industrial heritage, incorporating elements crafted from rock and tin.
