Sunway Resort in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is home to the first Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill outside the United Kingdom.
Opening its doors at Sunway Resort on 18 June 2022 is the world-famed Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill, which also represents the transformation of Sunway Resort. The restaurant combines the iconic British chef’s heritage with the grace and grandeur of the resort. Offering a series of lavish, intimate spaces, the restaurant introduces a trio of private dining rooms – 8 Mayfair, 10 Soho and 12 Chelsea, a grand dining room with semi-private seating booths and a snazzy cocktail bar with floor-to-ceiling windows, accommodating up to 150 guests.
Bask in the exquisite interior design of rich red and forest green, adorned by polished walnut hardwood flooring, brass finishes, 24 karats gold leaf hand-placed ceiling and more outstanding details. The walls of the main dining room are lined with monochrome portraits of British-style icons photographed by Terry O’Neill, such as Sir Mick Jagger, Sir Sean Connery, Twiggy and more.
The menu of the restaurant is inspired by its predecessor, another one of Gordon’s internationally known destinations, Savoy Grill in London. With a focus on the finest ingredients and an elevated culinary flair, the Gordon Ramsay-trained culinary team is ready to serve signature dishes like the prime cuts of meat dry-aged in-house, the classic beef Wellington served tableside, the spiced beef tartare with egg yolk confit, and more.
Make some time to make the most of the bar, and try the creative concoctions of classic favourites, as well as cocktails with Malaysian-inspired flavours and wines and spirits. Adjacent to the cocktail bar is a dedicated wine cellar and a private room, ideal for tastings, social gatherings and more.
