Celebrating the birthday of the Japanese Emperor, The Apurva Kempinski Bali has invited talented Japanese chefs living in Bali to create an exciting dinner collaboration at the resort’s renowned Japanese dining venue.
Always creating memorable experiences for guests, five-star The Apurva Kempinski Bali presents another creative collaboration dinner. Just in time to celebrate the Japanese Emperor’s birthday, Izayakaya by OKU will host a weekend full of delectable dining explorations crafted with two Japanese guest chefs renowned in Bali’s Japanese community.
From 23 to 25 February 2021, chef Hashimoto Soji and chef Hatanaka Hirotake will join chef Deni Koswara of Izakaya by OKU to deliver authentic flavours of Japan during a three-day event at the award-winning restaurant. This unique collaboration will not only introduce patrons to genuine Japanese cuisine but also introduce the chefs who have been running their own restaurants in Bali for years.
“As part of our Celebrating Diversity campaign, we are truly honoured to work with both chefs. It is a great opportunity for everyone to experience and take the journey along with them,” said chef Deni Koswara.
