From ultimate classics, like the Caipirinha made with local kaffir limes and ginger, to fancy twists on everyone’s favourites, like the Tarragon Margarita made with a homemade tarragon syrup and a dash of ginger ale to add an Asian, Mediterranean and Latin flavour, the menu at Rock Bar is as diverse as it is impressive. In particular, the Martini selection has been devised by Maestro Laval Lim-Hon, who has mixed cocktails during his 30-year career for celebrities and royalty such as Prince Rainer and Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco, Liza Minelli, Shirley Maclean and Clint Eastwood. Unsurprisingly so, Rock Bar has hence been awarded one of CNNGo’s World’s Best Hotel Bars, and we can certainly see why.
